  Hasta el lunes – until Monday, see you on Monday

  Había hasta cinco libros – there were up to five books

  Desde Oviedo hasta Santander lloverá – from Oviedo to Santander it will rain

• sin – without, etc.

  Salí sin mi abrigo – I went out without my coat

  Una botella sin abrir – an unopened bottle

  Se ha quedado sin trabajo – he is out of work

• sobre – on, upon, above, about

  El libro está sobre la mesa – the book is on the table

  Voló sobre la ciudad – he flew over the city (also sobrevoló la ciudad)

  Llegó sobre las siete – she arrived around seven
