Kenilworth Castle
  Gallery

Here are some panoramas that I (* ») have taken of Kenilworth Castle as a repeatable testcase using various cameras, lenses, and motorised mounts (tripod heads) over nine years, most recent first.

These panoramas are all taken from the South, from the same distance, with various cameras and lenses.  Although, necessarily, these were not taken under identical conditions they offer some useful comparisons.

The images here are all ‘flat’ high-resolution JPEG images, except for two at the bottom of the page which are 360° spherical panoramas, included for context.

All of these images have considerably more detail available than appears in the thumbnail; I have written, and recommend using, PanGazer » for viewing any panoramas once you have saved them; it is especially useful for viewing the 360° panoramas.

For notes and checklists for selected motorised heads, please see the multi-row panoramas page.  For more of my images, see speleotrove.com/gallery/ ».

The last two images are 360° spherical images, for context.  One is taken at ‘tripod level’, the other is at +40m.

I recommend using PanGazer » to view these after you have saved them.
