See -ar verbs.

e.g.,

dejó unas piñas en la mesa – she left some pineapples on the table

déjale jugar – let him play (Utd. allow him to play)

deja que llegue – wait till he arrives

dejar caer – to (let) drop

dejar de + infinitive – to stop (do)ing

dejó de fumar – she gave up smoking

ha dejado de nevar – it has stopped snowing

dejar + past participle

dejó dicho que vendría mañana – he left a message (left [something] said) that he would come tomorrow

lo dejó escrito en su agenda – he wrote it down (left [something] written) in his diary
