The aircraft registered as G-ROCO was built by Aero Consult Light Aircraft » (ACLA) and The Light Aircraft Company » (TLAC) as a prototype SSDR » (Single-Seat DeRegulated) version of the Sirocco. It was exhibited at the SPLASH flying show in 2008, The Flying Show in 2009, and at Friedrichshafen in 2010.

In 2011, it was fitted with twin turbine engines by Dave Stephens », who has kindly provided links to the videos of the first flight and a documentary of its development:
