Update from Elizabeth Pite
February 2005
Elizabeth is now an ordained priest and working full time for the church. She is currently still in training as a curate, but hopes that future options will include finding relevant ways of supporting those with autism and related conditions and their families.
Stephen has become increasingly integrated into society. He successfully completed two years in a ‘normal’ state sixth form and obtained three A levels. In his ‘year out’ he worked for the Inland Revenue.
He is now a first year student studying Law and enjoying being part of a student fantasy and gaming society. He has also made some good friends over the Internet whom he meets up with sometimes. He is still living at home but increasingly independent and with ever-growing confidence in his ability to organise his own life. We are all delighted.
