Here are some panoramas that I’ve taken; for many more in Northern
Spain, see the
Speleogroup panoramas » page.
- To see a full-size image, click on a thumbnail.
For 360° images it’s best to save them first:
- To save a full-size image, ‘save link as’ or ‘save target as’ (most
browsers allow this on right click on the thumbnail); note that
stereo images should be saved with extension .mpo – your browser
may have changed that to .jpg.
I have written, and recommend using,
PanGazer » for viewing any panoramas
once you have saved them; it is especially useful for viewing the
360° images.
These panoramas have been constructed in a number of ways; many are
simply stitched from a few overlapping hand-held photographs, but
I have also used automated pan-tilt heads, including:
- The GigaPan Epic 100. This allows very precise adjustments and
is suited to smaller, and especially film, cameras.
- Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi. This is a robust unit which has proved very
reliable; for more information, see my AZ-GTi notes.
- The Benro Polaris. Also a robust unit, very versatile; for more
information, see my Benro Polaris notes .
For 360° images I have used DJI drones and various ground-based
360° cameras.
